Nights of Grief & Mystery
Join LoveLines on July 19 & 21 at A Night of Grief & Mystery. The events in Boston and Sheffield, MA combine stories and observations by author/culture activist Stephen Jenkinson, drawn from his decades of work in palliative care, with original songs/sonics by recording artist Gregory Hoskins.
“The show was beautiful and dark and compelling and cathartic. Educational yet humbling. Strange yet familiar. It was a singular experience. I’m still kinda dumbstruck by the whole thing.” CT, Kitchener, ON
End Well Symposium
LoveLines will be in Los Angeles for the End Well Symposium. Join us for conversations about how we can redesign the end of life experience. We all have something to learn and contribute in this vitally important movement.
Social Media
LoveLines has no social media presence, at least for now.
Firstly, the data are in and they show that the endless stream of ‘perfect moments’ and ads telling us to ‘buy ourselves better’ is not good for mental health. We are also concerned about privacy. LoveLiners dealing with grief and loss are vulnerable so we want LoveLines to be a safe space. We want every visit to LoveLines to lift your spirits and improve your sense of wellbeing.
Secondly, LoveLines is still a tiny company. For our posts to stand a chance of of actually reaching you, social media requires a lot of time and money. Instead, we are choosing to focus our resources on improving LoveLines and creating newsletters to send direct to our subscribers.
